Stark Industries Ads

This project was created to make two ads for the company Stark Industries to illustrate what kinds of ads the company would create if it were a real company: one fun logo animation and a product introduction for the Arc Reactor. I chose this project to showcase the skills I’ve developed, like illustration and principles of animation. The process included a series of challenges that I had to overcome, specifically the arc reactor, and I developed learning different ways to add the glowing effect emanating from the core. It was a lot of trial and error of testing out different routes to handle the glow, starting with using lights and eventually landing on a mix of blurs and effects in After Effects. I ended with a stronger understanding of how to handle these challenges as they arise. This was made for Marvel fans who would be interested in seeing a what-if portrayal of what different in-world ads would look like for the company.
